ABOUT STATMAN ENVELOPES

History

Statman Pty Ltd, trading as Statman Envelopes, was established in 1984. For many years, the sole owner of the company has been Mr Ian Jones.

The involvement of the Jones family in the business of envelope manufacturing dates back to the late 1890s when Mr H.A. Jones, Ian’s grand-father, established H.A. Jones & Company.

Today, Statman Envelopes manufactures approximately 300 million envelopes per year, supplying a wide range of industries.

Commitment to the Environment

Statman Envelopes seeks to conduct its business with as minimal an environmental impact as possible.

We are accomplishing this by:

• Recycling paper wasted during the manufacturing process to the maximum extent possible
• Manufacturing envelopes with recycled paper whenever requested by customers
• Using lighter-weighted paper whenever requested by customers
• Avoiding heavy inking of paper whenever requested by customers
• Providing boxes for recycling office paper in each individual office
• Ensuring our manufacturing machinery is switched off when not in use to the maximum extent possible
• Purchasing from local businesses and suppliers whenever possible
• Packing deliveries in the most efficient manner possible
• Ensuring that our deliveries are undertaken in an efficient manner as possible
